CURRICULUM

"Our aim in education is to give a full life."

— Charlotte Mason

The holistic, interwoven design of Crestwood Heights Academy’s curriculum, based on the Charlotte Mason Philosophy of Education, will relate every subject to the others, challenging students to think broadly and deeply.  Our areas of study will span many subjects including American, ancient and world history, architecture, foreign language (including Latin,) grammar, literature, mathematics, science and much more.  All subjects will be built upon high quality literature and at the end of each year, students will have read 40+ books. We are continuously amazed when reading writing samples and witnessing the brilliant ideas that spring from students who are educated using such beautiful, living books!  We look forward to offering hands-on labs for sciences, electives, dual enrollment, and career shadowing opportunities. We value both strong academic skills and creative, enriching activities including study and creation of art, poetry, and music.
